The resin used is composed of 21% plant-based sources.
DAP
An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) has been prepared, detailing the environmental impacts of Cosmolite® throughout its life cycle, from raw material extraction to end-of-life disposal.
Food safety
Cosmolite® is FDA-approved and NSF 51 FOOD ZONE certified.
It undergoes rigorous chemical analyses to ensure the safety of the substances used in its production and, consequently, its safety for food contact.
No quartz
Cosmolite® is made from mineral oxides sourced from quarry processing scraps.
The composition of the aggregates does not contain any quartz.
No VOC emissions after installation
Cosmolite® does not emit VOCs, making it safe for humans (especially children!) and the environment, as certified by Greenguard Gold certification.
Carbon footprint communication
Stone Italiana has completed a life cycle analysis that calculates greenhouse gas emissions in kilograms of CO2, providing a comprehensive overview of its environmental impact.
